The role of land use and agriculture has come into sharp focus with the challenge of climate, air quality and food production coming into public consciousness. Ricardo is seeking to further strengthen its agriculture business through the appointment of an analyst consultant who will contribute to the delivery of our agricultural advisory programmes and technical projects.

We have a strong capability in the development and delivery of advisory programmes, with our project managers and technical specialists providing support to farmers on behalf of Government clients. Our flagship programmes include the national Farm Advisory Services on behalf of Defra and Scottish Government. Delivery of advisory programmes incorporates a variety of disciplines including project management, marketing and communications, grant dispersal supported by a knowledge of the farming sector and the environment.

Our team provide insightful projects to national Governments, The European Commission and private sector clients by developing evidence and analysis to support policies relating to air quality, greenhouse gas emissions and water quality while maintaining productive farming. Ricardo are well placed to help clients understand the challenges and solutions that will be necessary to revolutionise the future of food and farming, whilst also supporting agricultural businesses to interpret and implement the changes required.
