Base Energy was established in 2008 and now has offices in the North West & South of England. We have expertise from across the industry, with over 35 years of experience dealing with a wide portfolio of clients including major multi-national companies and independent architects/developers.
We continue to strengthen our team of assessors from the Global Consultancy market and have an ongoing apprenticeship scheme to ensure new talent continues to thrive and we are up to date with industry developments.

BREEAM
The BREEAM Environmental Assessment Method is the principal and universal assessment method for buildings for the environmental rating of buildings. It sets the standard for best practice in sustainable design and has become the de facto measure used to describe a buildings environmental performance.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Base Energy are members of NHER, using industry leading software for all our assessments to produce the SAP and SBEM Reports and EPC’s.
Our Assessors and consultants are constantly increasing their knowledge to ensure our customers have access to the best advice.
The basis of the Energy Efficiency reports is a design SAP/SBEM calculation which are the Government’s approved methodology for assessing the energy rating of dwellings. The SAP calculation will take into account the proposed building fabric, heating systems, ventilation, and lighting.
Our experienced assessors will ascertain the best ways forward in terms of meeting the required building regulations compliance for Part L by using a variety of energy efficiency methods.
PLANNING
Planning Applications increasingly now require a variety of reports to cover issues that are taken into consideration when determining new Planning Applications.
