Gasrec is the leading supplier of liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel for road transport in North West Europe. We supply LNG to our network of refuelling stations, where it can also be dispensed as CNG for lighter commercial vehicles, buses and refuse vehicles.
We build and manage ‘open-access’ stations as well as dedicated on-site facilities for our customers. We provide advice on the commercial and environmental benefits of natural gas and work closely with manufacturers developing the next generation of environmentally friendly, low emission gas vehicles.
As a pioneer in the supply of liquefied gas fuel to the transport sector, Gasrec has successfully secured funding from a range of UK and EU government grant programmes, including through the Technology Strategy Board and TEN-T (Trans-European Transport Networks) Executive Agency.
Looking forward, the company is in the process of developing a number of strategic station locations and is working with existing and new customers to extend its refuelling network to take account of the growing number of natural gas vehicles and the potential for market growth.
Additionally, we provide ‘off-grid’ solutions and advice to energy intensive industries where tanker delivered LNG can provide a sustainable solution to meet growing energy demands.

We provide ‘solutions’ to natural gas vehicle users. We advise them on both the commercial and environmental benefits of using gas, and the suitability and availability of vehicles. We own and operate strategically located refuelling infrastructure and supply LNG – for both LNG and CNG use – wherever our customers need it. Our responsive and flexible tanker delivery approach, matched with our extensive fuel supply chain, guarantees reliability of service and quality at any location.
THE BENEFITS OF NATURAL GAS
Natural gas vehicles are environmentally cleaner, less costly and quieter than diesel. Carbon and other emissions are significantly reduced while harmful particulate matter is virtually eliminated. Natural gas is also cheaper then diesel and widely accessible through a fast-growing refuelling infrastructure.
