MeritSkills Ltd is an organisation which was created to provide cost effective, high quality training and development products for individuals and organisations, delivered by the best industry experienced staff.
We offer a wide range of off-the shelf-products, whilst also specialising in development of solutions designed precisely to meet our clients specific requirements.
The team at MeritSkills have many years experience in providing training and development to a wide range of customers in the water industry, ranging from multi million pound contracts to ad-hoc requirements. We aim to build on that experience to deliver an honest, cost effective, down to earth service to our customers.
THE MERITSKILLS TRAINING CENTRE
Our purpose built training centre is located on the outskirts of Peterborough in the village of Yaxley. Located within close proximity of the A1(M) and easily accessible from the A47 and A14.
The training centre itself has 3 equipped training rooms which are suitable for both theory and practical training, two large outside areas for practical training and assessment, disabled access and facilities and plenty of on site car parking.
Our outside areas included a purpose built street works area for cable location, signing, light and guarding, excavation and reinstatement approved by City and Guilds.
A specifically designed and built confined space to meet City and Guilds standards provides a realistic but safe training environment.
A pre-formed trench in order to give candidates hands on experience of working with timber, steel sheets and hydraulics. Our trench support courses and facilities are approved by the Energy and Utility Skills Register (EUSR).
We also have a water mains network for mains commissioning and leakage detection and control training and assessment.
ACCREDITATIONS
CABWI are the principle awarding body for water industry qualifications. We are able to offer nationally accredited qualifications as a CABWI centre.This adds to the choices available to our customers when deciding on the training required and how best to certify competence.
