Pilio is a sustainability technology and consultancy company that spun-out from the University of Oxford in 2011. Founders Catherine Bottrill and Dr. Russell Layberry have been working on designing sustainability solutions for businesses over 15-years. Our sustainability impact software is used by sustainability and energy managers to implement good practices. We work with clients to develop and implement a holistic sustainability strategy to achieve net carbon zero and nature positive commitments. Our clients include: Blenheim Palace, Drax, Julie’s Bicycle, Lake District Park Authority, Lush, National Theatre and YMCA. In recent years we have focused on SMEs and large businesses but have always retained work with household users. In consultancy services we work with businesses to develop and implement their sustainability strategies including being on a net zero carbon pathway. We are currently innovating a suite of new tools and services to support businesses assess the carbon and nature impacts in their supply chains.
