The derivation ReGenTech comes from Renewable Generation Technologies which embodies the idea that renewable's become our primary energy source, it also refers to the present and future generation of children who will live to see the end of the dominance of oil and then become the Renewable Generation.
ReGenTech was incorporated in September 2000 with a view to entering the fuel cell industry. This happened in November 2001 when ReGenTech with support from Scottish Enterprise assembled a portable fuel cell generator system. The company’s focus was fuel cells and hydrogen systems in this priority.
March 2003 saw the formation of siGEN which was responsible for many landmark projects in the UK from London to Shetland. siGEN for many years was the only and then primary hydrogen and fuel cells company training many engineers through projects and internships.
August 2007 ReGenTech re-acquired all of the assets, intellectual property and tack record of siGEN from voluntary liquidation. At this time the company was restructured and the product service offering widened to include renewable energy systems and demand reduction measures to broaden and strengthen the revenue base.
Over the past 7 years the company has been responsible for many landmark projects all over the UK.
