The company is a member of the Association of Noise Consultants and all consultants are affiliated with the Institute of Acoustics and other relevant professional bodies.

The company is accredited under the Link-up, Utilities Vendor Database, and Constructionline pre-qualification schemes, and we are certified under ISO 9001 for the provision of environmental consultancy and services (including monitoring) for all industry sectors. Southdowns has Personal Track Safety (PTS) qualified staff for rail-side working and all staff hold safety cards under the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).
Since its formation in 1996, the company has worked on hundreds of projects throughout the UK and overseas for clients in both the public and private sector and has achieved approved supplier status to many major companies in the UK.
