Technical Asset Manager needed to join the team at our established client in the UK Onshore Renewable Energy Sector.

The role will involve remote and onsite management and coordination of the clients existing portfolio, with a particular focus on Solar PV sites.

Please note, demonstrable Solar Asset Management experience is highly desirable, as is a related technical qualification and knowledge of the Renewable Sector and HV regulations.

You will be responsible for maximising the energy output of the assets under your management and identifying root causes of potential underperformance and recommending cost effective solutions.

A key responsibility will be to analyse performance of operational assets against contracted warranties and guarantee’s using best practise industry methods, report on and recommend improvements to customers.

You will also have some financing and accounting and business development responsibilities in line with the employers commercial activities.

The ideal candidate will be an independent self-starter, with excellent communication skills as the role will be client facing and dealing with onsite maintenance and contracting staff.

You will pay close attention to detail and have strong commercial awareness and computer literacy.

Ideally you will be based in the Greater Edinburgh area or Central Belt, however our client is willing to consider candidates slightly further afield with the required experience, provided they can attend sites and work remotely when necessary.
