Our client is currently seeking an experienced, Principal-grade, Water Resource Consultant to join their successful Environment & Infrastructure team. Water Resource issues are constantly under the spotlight and ever increasing, with common issues regarding water availability, pollution and neutrality all making headlines at an increasingly frequent rate. In order to combat such issues, our client is looking to bolster there already successful team of consultants with another Principal level hire. The opportunity is hybrid and is optionable on office location.
The role:
* Analysis and interpretation of water resource data.
* Development and evaluation of conservation and management of water resources
* Client facing responsibilities: technical advice for stakeholders and regulators for water-related issues.
* Experience working with Environment Agency / Natural England considered advantageous.
* Feasibility studies, risk assessment for EIAs across various development types
* Project management (budgeting, timelines, and deliverables)
* Strong communication skills due to need for collaboration with external professionals on multidisciplinary projects.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Over 6 years’ experience within water resources or consultancy.
* Bachelor’s degree in hydrological or civil engineering or relevant field.
* Project management experience for full process is required.
* Expert report writing, technical review, analytical and numerical capabilities.
* Exceptional commercial awareness and experience within business development.
