One of the UK’s award winning multi-disciplinary companies is looking to expand their environmental team through the appointment of a Senior Air Quality Consultant into their London office.

You will be joining a busy and diverse environmental consulting team working on exciting projects such as, smart city developments, urban regeneration, master planning, transport and industrial and commercial expansions.

About the Role:

Building on the success of their existing team, they are expanding and inviting individuals with a passion for environmental improvement to play an active role in delivering high-quality consultancy services. As a Senior Air Quality Consultant, you will be at the forefront of a variety of air quality projects, both integrated within Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and as standalone studies.

Key Responsibilities:

Drawing from your previous experience of preparing Air Quality models and reports, you will contribute to exciting and challenging projects across the regeneration, property, waste, and energy sectors. Your day-to-day activities will be dynamic and diverse, including:

* Collaborating with clients, project teams, and local authorities.
* Participating in design team and client meetings.
* Conducting air quality assessments and crafting detailed reports.
* Contributing to initiatives for service development and standards enhancement.
* Preparing fee proposals and supporting bids.
* Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

* An appropriate degree (professional membership preferred or working towards).
* Ideally 4 years or more of consultancy experience in air quality assessments.
* Practical expertise in air quality modelling, including proficiency in tools like ADMS Roads (or similar).
* Beneficial experience in industrial modelling.
* Competence in monitoring, including the design and management of surveys (Passive monitoring).
* Solid understanding of air quality assessment methods.
* Excellent report writing, communication, and project management skills.

Dispersion modelling of transport and stack emissions of large urban-regeneration developments
Stack emission modelling for Environment Permit Variations
Dust monitoring management across a large masterplan in London
Odour modelling of wastewater treatment works
Assessment of generator emissions across large area in London
Qualitative air quality assessments reports for smaller developments qualitatively assessing air quality
Air quality dust management plans
Indoor Air Quality Plans Feasibility Studies
Post planning support and discharging of conditions
