Principal Built Heritage Consultant

An award-winning architectural and heritage consultancy practice are looking for a Senior Heritage Consultant to join their team in York.

Responsibilities:

* Acting as Heritage Consultancy Lead in the north region
* Advising on architectural, landscape and masterplanning commissions
* Leading projects with outputs including Heritage Impact Assessments, Conservation Management Plans and Significance and Capacity for Change analysis

They are looking for:

* Demonstrable experience of archival and desk-based research and producing well-written reports
* Strong knowledge of building conservation, heritage planning or buildings archaeology
* Experience planning and managing your own and others workload
* Bid-writing and fee proposals
* Working knowledge of current UK heritage legislation and policy
