Senior Business Development Representative (Solar and LED)

We're recruiting a Senior Business Development Representative for the leading global provider of affordable clean solar energy.

What we are looking for:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing,Environmental Science or a related field.

● Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the renewable energy sector.

● Experience with AI or automated sales tools

● Proven track record of successfully generating leads, closing deals, and achieving sales targets.

● Strong understanding of the solar energy market, including industry trends, key players, and regulatory environment.

● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills / comfortable on the phone, prospecting for business

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

● Proficiency in CRM software, preferably Hubspot

Role Specifics:

● Identify and target new business opportunities / qualified leads.

● Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

● Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.

● Capture & record deal qualification and customer data to progres the deal

● Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and social media.

● Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective strategies for customer acquisition and retention.

● Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to senior management.

● Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and build a network of contacts.

● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in solar technology.
