Exceptional opportunity for an experienced Air Quality consultant to join a highly-regarded niche multi-disciplinary environmental, planning and engineering consultancy. You will play a key role in the team and will have the opportunity to work on an exciting range of projects across various sectors in the UK and internationally.

On the back of a growing workload, my client is seeking a suitably qualified Air Quality specialist to join their team based in the historic city of York.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years’ professional experience, with significant experience in air quality modelling, report writing and project management, ideally in the UK

You will have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of project types, including residential schemes, transportation and power plants. You will be part of a small friendly team of Air Quality specialists, enjoying a mature, and relaxed working environment. You will be given a lot of responsibility and can further develop your expertise quickly through ongoing mentoring and training.

Ideally you will have the following

• Relevant first degree, second degree desirable
• Membership of IAQM/IEMA
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience of undertaking air quality assessments in a consultancy environment ideally in the UK
• Dispersion modelling with ADMS, DMRB, and AERMOD,
• Highly literate
• Strong communication skills
• Project management experience
• Highly adaptable and willingness to learn
• Full driving license

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

As Air Quality specialist, your brief will include;
• Successful delivery of air quality projects
• Undertaking extensive modelling work
• Producing technically accurate reports
• Project management
• Site visits, monitoring and client liaison
