Cathcart Energy are recruiting for a Head of Asset Management (Electric Power Transmission) Who will report to the Director of Transmission Operations.

This is a permanent role to be based in either: Aberdeen, Perth or Inverness, Scotland.

Manage the �3B+ SHE Transmission asset portfolio (expected to rise to over �4B within next 5 years) with a particular focus on:

* Identify and develop a whole life strategy, policy and process for asset management.
* Monitoring and improving asset performance, methods, policies and procedures across SHE Transmission, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance and alignment to business objectives.
* Maximising the potential for current and future outperformance in key areas of our regulatory settlement (Particularly in Base Capex investment, SF6 leakage, Energy Not Supplied)
* Manage and mitigate asset related business risk and opportunities in the areas of regulation, commercial, technical change and customer expectations.
* Undertake Technical Authority role, reviewing and agreeing to the introduction of new plant and equipment specifications for SHE Transmission.

This section is to define/qualify the expertise/capability which is ESSENTIAL to meet job demands. Business Knowledge

* Comprehensive knowledge of the workings of the RIIO settlement and the mechanisms available for outperformance
* Conversant with business separation, procurement and competition requirements
* Established Business case presentation capability
* Conversant with business change and technical deployment
* Operational background (maintenance, process or systems engineering)
* Business experience of HSE and governance management
* Detailed knowledge of ISO55000 and asset modelling
* Knowledge of ESQC Regulations,
* Innovation governance,

Essential Functional / Technical Skills

* Minimum Degree Level Qualification in an Engineering discipline.
* Asset Management qualification
* Considerable Asset Management Experience gained in utility/oil and gas/process engineering environment at a senior level
* Operational experience in maintenance/ operations/process engineering preferably with an electrical bias.
* Experience of project planning, stewardship, delivery and execution
* Experience of working in a regulated environment (Economic / Safety)
