Responsibilities/Accountabilities
• Management and technical input on Environmental and Social Due Diligence, ESIA, monitoring and supervision of projects
• Working with lenders and relevant stakeholders
• Gap Analysis
• Environmental and social action plans
• Feasibility studies
• Business development
• Tendering and proposal writing
• Staff mentoring, line management
• Travel as and when required to client sites both in UK and overseas

Requirements & Skills
• Upwards of 12+ years experience in the relevant industry
• Track record of working with financial institutions, providing environmental and social risk appraisal
• Experience of some or all of the following sectors;
o Power generation and distribution
o Transport infrastructure
o Municipal environmental infrastructure
o Natural resources
o Manufacturing
• Experience of working in some or all of the following areas; Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Latin America and Africa
• Working to relevant lender standards such as IFC and EBRD
• Proven success of working in a multi-disciplinary team
• Highly commercial
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations and public speaking
• Ability to travel regularly on short trips overseas, often at short notice

Desirable Skills & Knowledge
• Fluent in foreign language – preferably French, or Spanish
• Existing client-base in international finance institutions
• Qualifications in Health & Safety management.
• International ESIA experience

Qualifications
• Degree and/or post graduate degree in relevant subject
• Significant professional services/consultancy experience, ideally over 12 years
• Membership of, and a recognised professional profile (e.g. chartership) with a relevant Professional Body or organization
