Project BIM Manager

Reporting to the Departmental Operations Manager you are responsible for managing the functional area BIM Coordinators on a project level. You will be part of the dynamic Digital Construction department within the company.

Job description

 Key activities for this person will include:

·        Work closely with the senior project management team.

·        Chair scope specific meetings.

·        Manage the development of the project Information aligned with the contract requirements and Level 2 Certification requirements.

·        Manage the Implementation of Corporate BIM Strategy on a project level.

·        Communicate with senior project/departmental management on the progress of the projects BIM deliverables.

·        Manage and report on the progress of the projects Information Management requirements.

·        Assist the project team in areas of new learning especially software and process related.

·        Manage and report on the day to day on-boarding of key stakeholders in their engagement in a Level 2 BIM process.

·        Manage the maintenance and training of Information Management systems and processes.

 

Ideal Candidate Specification

·        Third Level AEC related qualification required.

·        A minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction related activities.

·        Level 2 BIM Certification required.

·        Experience in FM delivery through BIM would be desirable.

·        Detailed knowledge of COBie delivery.

·        Detailed knowledge of 3D object modelling.

·        Detailed knowledge of Civil 3D.

·        Detailed knowledge of Revit.

·        Detailed knowledge of Navisworks Manage.

·        Detailed knowledge of the Autodesk 360 suite of products.

·        Detailed knowledge of contractual relationships and requirements.

·        Enthusiastic, motivated individual.

·        Ability to work in a team environment.

·        Strong written and verbal Communication Skills.

·        Ability to lead a team.

·        Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals.

·        Must be a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continued education on BIM.

·        Possess ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
