We have an excellent opportunity for a Contract Supervisor to join our team based at Pioneer House in Glasgow.

The Contract Supervisor Role:

With the Clyde Valley service contract commencement date of 1st December 2019, a Contract Supervisor is required to assist in the setup, staffing and staff training to deliver service commencement of the Clyde Valley transfer stations.

Further to this there will be contract documents such as contract method statements and SOPRA's required to adhere to the contract; but also to ensure the facilities operate in a safe and compliant manner. From Service commencement the Contract Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day operation of the 4 transfer stations.

This role will involve both administration duties and site based operational duties. You will ensure that the contract function operates in accordance with statutory legislation, environmental obligations and company procedures.

Our ideal Contract Supervisor will have:

 *Experience working with low levels of supervision in a high-pressure environment *Extensive experience of Transfer Station Operations *Educated to degree level or equivalent *Experience of managing a large local authority contract *Experience of managing change with a local authority *IOSH Managing Safely and COTC. Transfer Operations *Extensive knowledge of existing and proposed legislation affecting managing local authority contracts. *Ability to operate under pressure and to constantly changing deadlines and priorities. *High level of attention to detail and quality. *Extensive knowledge of the legal & Health & Safety requirements relating to managing Transfer Stations & Household Waste Recycling Centres
