Electrical Technician

We are now looking to recruit an Electrical Technician to join the team at our Ardley Energy Recovery Facility (ERF), near Oxford.

The Role:

The Electrical Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all the electrical equipment at the Ardley ERF Plant, providing support to other disciplines as necessary using experience and skills. You'll assist in the co-ordination of contractors as required, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

The Electrical Technician will ensure maintenance plans and targets are achieved safely, economically and within the environmental limits of the plant. You'll ensure that all reporting within the Computerised Maintenance Management System is effective and followed through to completion promptly.

Our ideal ERF Electrical Technician will have:

 *Experience of electrical maintenance engineering within either process, power plants or other heavy engineering environments *Possess appropriate relevant trade technical qualifications City & Guilds / NVQ / BTEC / ONC / HNC *An understanding of Environmental and Health and Safety issues and their impacts *Experience of working with Computerised Maintenance Management systems (CMMS) *Competent with HV Switchgear *Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, both verbally and written
