Great opportunity for a qualified Landscape Architect to work on a broad variety of projects. The position will offer the right individual the opportunity to work for a well-established and growing environmental consultancy.

The successful candidate will take a key role on a range of significant projects including large
energy developments, residential and mixed-use schemes, infrastructure, aggregates and
commercial projects. You will be given plenty of opportunity to develop your skills and
expertise through ongoing mentoring and training in a friendly environment. The ideal
candidate will be able to work with a high degree of independence as well as in teams. The
role will ideally suit an individual with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position in the
UK or Ireland.

Duties:

• Managing and undertaking Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIAs)
• Providing landscape design advice relating to LVIA
• Providing support on preparation of bids
• Producing Landscape Plans
• Briefing and managing technical staff to assist on your projects
• Undertaking site visits
• Engaging with other in-house multi-disciplinary team members
• Liaising with clients, local authorities and statutory consultees

Essential Criteria:

• Three years’ experience in the UK or Ireland
• Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (LI) or Irish Landscape Institute
(ILI) (or appropriate landscape qualifications and post-graduate experience
equivalent to CMLI status)
• Experienced in GIS and other software packages
• Demonstrable high level of technical competence gained in a consultancy
environment
• Proven track record in LVIA for EIA projects with an excellent standard of written
English
• Good knowledge and understanding of UK and /or Irish legislation
